Just received a note from UFCW telling me they were having trouble negotiating with Vons and Albertsons, and that I should take my prescription renewals to RiteAid (have not heard anything good about these people), CVS (only certain ones, and my personal (and other's) experience has been unpleasant), or Stater Bros. (this would be fine, but I'm pretty sure there's nothing close by.)
So, what's a loyal union member (moi) to do? My inclination at this point: nothing, mostly because I question the usefulness of this strategy.
